We were asked to design an Audio Visual solution for a home that was being refurbished.
The Brief included...
- Cable the home for distribution of Audio, Video and Data/Phone.
- To install cabling for a cinema system.
- Equipment to play audio in six rooms.
- Include additional cabling should any furthur expansion of audio distribution be required.
- Remote location of equipment
We worked with a highly experienced Project Manager (Hi Andy) and electricians to ensure all parties were aware of ours and the clients requirements.
We used a selection of QED cables for the installation, so we could route speakers, satellite signals and a internet connection throught the house.
Sonos was installed to give the customer an intuitive music system that could stream millions of tracks instantly, and give her access to her digitaly stored music and internet radio.
A pioneer DVD player was connected remotely to her Loewe television in her main living area, this was done to hide the DVD player from sight and retain the clean look of her space.
The client now has music in six rooms with future expansion to a further two. Television is distributed into six rooms with the option to add three Sky HD boxes. Video can be distributed to all televisions including the family/cinema room.
